1. Who is behind FLEYE Signature?
FLEYE Signature is a unique limited edition collection from FLEYE Copenhagen. FLEYE is founded in 2002 by Annette Estø, Hanne Rosenvold Anderson and Lars Halstrøm, and today our glasses and sunglasses are sold at selected opticians in over 30 countries worldwide.
2. What are your sunglasses made of?
Our sunglasses are made with nickel free, hypoallergenic and nontoxic materials only. We work with three types of materials; acetate, beta-titanium and carbon/wood.
The acetate sunglasses are made of high-quality HDCA (Hard Density Cellulose Acetate) - a special, compressed acetate for ultra-thin, lightweight frames. This new material allows us to minimize acetate width and depth, providing a very slim and minimalistic look while retaining its beautiful glow and hues.
The beta-titanium sunglasses are far more flexible than ordinary titanium. Frames made of beta-titanium are therefore extremely comfortable. Our beta-titanium eyewear is created in a range of different finishes; Highly polished surfaces, matte sandblasted surfaces as well as engravings of subtle details and patterns into the frame add a contemporary touch. We color our beta-titanium with ion plating. This technique gives the entire frame a durable and scratch-resistant surface. Our beta-titanium frames are characterized by beautiful, detailed work and exquisite craftsmanship.
Our carbon/wood sunglasses consist of 23 layers of carbon fiber and 1 layer of natural wood. The many woven layers of carbon fiber ensure a strong and light frame that keeps its shape. Carbon fiber is a popular material in the production of aircraft, bikes and sailboats because of the unique combination of lightness and strength. It therefore lends itself perfectly to creating comfortable durable sunglasses frames. A 0,3 mm thin layer of oak, ebony, and peach wood add an exclusive and natural warmth to the raw carbon frames. We have taken this development even further and introduced carbon frames with colored wooden surfaces.
3. How are the sunglasses fitted to my head?
FLEYE Signature sunglasses are characterized by a specially designed adjustable beta-titanium wire, which holds the nose pads as well as flexible beta-titanium temples for comfort and ease of adjustment of the frames. Our design team has created the wire and temple design to fit almost every shape of head.
4. Are your sunglasses available in different sizes?
There are various models and sizes in our collection, which cover most head shapes/sizes and preferences. If you are unsure about what size fits your shape of head, you are most welcome to consult our Customer Service.
5. How do I clean my sunglasses?
To ensure long-term satisfaction with your purchase, please take note of the following instructions concerning the care and use of your sunglasses.
FLEYE Signature sunglasses frames can be cleaned of any foreign substances with the FLEYE cleaning cloth provided, or another gentle, grease-removing lens cleaning cloth. For acetate frames, the use of harsh cleaning agents is not advised as the frame and its components can be damaged. Cleaning via an ultra-sonic bath is also not advisable.
6. Is it safe to order online at FLEYE Signature?
Yes, it is perfectly safe to place an order and make a payment on our website. All payment methods on fleyecopenhagen.com are provided by our payment provider. All the data is transmitted via SSL-encryption and credit card transactions can only be accepted through SET (Secure Electronic Transactions). This means that the sensitive information that we store (your name, address, password) can be transmitted securely within our system. The card-issuing bank checks the authenticity within the system and determines if the payment is to be charged to the card. Shopping at fleyecopenhagen.com is therefore highly secure and we take all necessary measures to prevent fraud.
We will not store any payment data that you submit; our third-party payment provider handles this.
7. The sunglasses I wanted are out of stock. When will it be available?
All our sunglasses are limited edition, which means that when a model is sold out, it will not be available again. Please contact our Customer Service for information about specific products.
8. How can I pay?
You can pay with Dankort, Visa, Mastercard, PayPal and Mobile Pay.
9. When will I be charged?
You will be charged as soon as your order is handled in our warehouse. A confirmation email will be sent to your email address with details about your order. Please save this email, as this is your confirmation. If you do not find the “Order Confirmation” email in your inbox, please check your spam and trash folders.
10. How do I cancel my order?
Please contact our Customer Service for any cancellation or changes to your order as soon as possible (email@example.com or +45 5373 8750 Monday to Thursday from 09.00-15.00, Friday 09.00-14.00 CET). We aim to ship all orders within 1-2 days from when you make the order, so should you decide to cancel later than that, it is possible that your order has already left FLEYE Signature on its way to your delivery address.
11. To which countries do you ship?
Currently, we exclusively ship to countries within the EU.
12. How long will I wait for my order?
All orders are handled within 1-2 days and are shipped with GLS.
Depending on your location, the standard shipping time may take:
Denmark: 1-3 working days
Europe: 2-5 working days
13. I want to return or exchange my sunglasses, what is your return policy?
You can try your product(s) on at home and send them back to us within 30 days - starting from the day of receipt – for a refund. You do not need to state a reason for return within this time period and you will be given a full refund of the sunglasses if they are in the same condition as when you received them.
You must notify us by email that you wish to cancel your purchase within 30 days of receiving your order. You must return the products to us no later than 14 days after you have notified us about the cancellation of your purchase. You may unpack the products and try them on, as long as they are returned in the same condition and in original packaging. We reserve the right to reject a return if the items have any signs of use.
As soon as your return shipment has been checked and confirmed at FLEYE Signature, we will refund your payment using the same method you selected for your purchase. We will let you know via email as soon as we have activated the full refund.

14. Do I have to cover the cost of the return shipment myself?
No, FLEYE Signature will cover the cost of the return shipment (except in the case of Sample Sale products).
